My wife and I first came to Argentina on an extended vacation to dance our passion - the tango. During this wonderful time we fell in love with this incredible city.

I remember how encapsulated I felt when I first saw the classic European architecture. As we gazed upon the endless grand buildings with wrought iron balconies that lined the long, wide tree lined avenues, we were sure we had arrived in Paris not Buenos Aires in Argentina.

We were charmed by the energy of the city created by its inhabitants who live to enjoy their arts, their food and their lives to the full.

We walked all over the city through its beautiful parks, around its grand museums and extensive shopping areas. We tried to discover every facet of this exciting capital.

But what really made us fall in love with Buenos Aires was the passion for tango in and around the city. The sensual dance is danced everywhere from the cobbled street corners of San Telmo to the glistening lights of the stage shows on Corrientes – truly making it the heartbeat of the city.
